How to embed a timeline
Embedded timeline widgets give you the ability to embed a collection of posts (known as a timeline) on your own website. There are two types of embedded timelines available, which look and feel like timelines on x.com:
- Profile: Display public posts from any account on X.
- List: Show posts from public Lists.
Note: Embedded timelines will only show content from accounts that have public posts. Content from accounts with protected posts are not compatible with any X embedded timeline widgets.
To add an embedded timeline to your website
- Go to https://publish.twitter.com/.
- Enter the URL of the timeline you’d like to embed.
- Customize the design by specifying the height and theme (light or dark) to match your website.
- Copy and paste the code into the HTML of your website wherever you would like the timeline to appear.
- You're done!
Note: By using X embedded timelines, you agree to the Developer Agreement and Policy.
