Mute is a feature that allows you to remove an account's posts from your timeline without unfollowing or blocking that account. Muted accounts will not know that you’ve muted them and you can unmute them at any time. To access a list of accounts you have muted, visit your muted accounts settings on x.com or your app settings on X for iOS or Android.
To learn about muting notifications, read about our advanced muting options on X.
