How to share a Post on Snapchat

It's quick and easy to add a post as a sticker to your Snap. There’s no need to take screenshots of posts to share what’s happening on X with your Snapchat friends. We’re doing the heavy lifting for you.

How to share a post to Snapchat
Step 1

Tap the share icon  on a public post.
Note: A protected post cannot be shared.

Step 2

Tap Share to camera beneath the Snapchat icon.

Step 3

If you’re signed into the Snapchat app on your device, your X app will close, and the camera feature of your Snapchat app will open.

Step 4

The post you want to share will appear as a moveable and resizable sticker to share on Snapchat. 

Step 5

You can share the post with a single person, a group, or all of your followers.

Once posted, viewers of your post on Snapchat will be able to swipe up to see the original post and its replies on X.
