How to manage multiple accounts

If you have more than one X account, it’s simple to add and access them from your X for iOS or Android app, and on desktop, mobile.X.com, X Lite, and X for Windows.

How to add additional accounts
For IOS:
Step 1

Tap the navigation menu  icon.

Step 2

Tap the more icon 

Step 3

From here you can Create new account or Add an existing account.

Step 4

Once you've added your additional account(s), you can access the accounts by tapping the profile icon of the account you wish to use, then tapping the smaller, additional profile icon(s) next to the  icon. Tap the navigation menu again to return back.

For Android:
Step 1

In the top menu, you will either see a navigation menu icon  or your profile icon. Tap whichever icon you have.

Step 2

Tap on the down arrow icon  in the header.

Step 3

From here you can Create new account or Add existing account.

Step 4

Once you've added your additional account, you can toggle between accounts by tapping the downward-facing arrow in the header.


How do I log in to more than one X account at a time via desktop?
 

  • On the side menu, click your profile icon.
  • Choose the more icon  or the plus icon
  • From here, you can Add an existing account.
  • Once you’ve added your account(s), you can toggle between them by clicking your profile icon, and then tapping the smaller, additional profile icon(s) next to the more icon 
     

How do I log in to more than one X account at a time via mobile.X.com?
 

  • On the top left, tap your profile icon.
  • Tap the more icon 
  • From here, you can Add an existing account.
  • Once you’ve added your account(s), you can toggle between them by long-pressing your profile icon, and then tapping the smaller additional profile icon(s) next to the more icon 
     

How do I log in to more than one X account at a time on X Lite?
 

  • On the top left, tap your profile icon.
  • Choose the more icon 
  • From here, you can Add an existing account.
  • Once you’ve added your account(s), you can toggle between them by long-pressing your profile icon, and then tapping the smaller additional profile icon(s) next to the more icon 
     

How do I log in to more than one X account at a time via X for Microsoft?
 

  • On the top left, click your profile icon.
  • Choose the more icon 
  • From here, you can Add an existing account.
  • Once you’ve added your account(s), you can toggle between them by clicking your profile icon, and then tapping the smaller, additional profile icon(s) next to the more icon 
     

Can I merge or combine two or more X accounts into one?
 

We currently do not offer a way to merge multiple accounts into one or migrate data (posts, following, or followers) from one account to another.
