Bangers

We want to recognize and celebrate posts that move the platform – the ones that make people laugh, think, or talk. We want people to share original, engaging, and authentic content that shapes internet culture. Bangers will be ranked by the sum of authentic interactions, which includes verified impressions, likes, bookmarks, reposts and replies.

Here is what you should keep in mind:

There are no follower or engagement minimums, but we’re looking for:

• Personal accounts (business, political, or government-affiliated accounts don’t count).

• Accounts in good standing, with no repeated or severe violations of our Terms or Rules and policies.

• Accounts that aren’t trying to game our system or algorithm.

For a Banger to be eligible, the post must: 

• Be original content (meaning it’s yours or you’ve transformed something into uniquely yours),  and 

• Not contain: sexually explicit content, ads or sponsored content, misleading or harassing materials, graphic  or disturbing messages, or violence.  

We’re starting with posts written in English but we plan to expand to other languages.
